Berner Bed & Breakfast, Halls on Falls Homestead

Berner B&B combines a country feel with modern amenities. Part of our home, relax on our verandah and soak up the scenery. Dog friendly and welcoming horse enthusiasts and their horses. There is A/C for the warmer months and a wood fire for a cosy feel during the cooler months. Breakfast is provided, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Cooking facilities are not provided. The private room has its own bathroom and toilet and a king bed that can be split into 2 singles if required Berner B&B is part of Halls on Falls Homestead. There is a dedicated horse arena, paddocks to home your horse, you can even see your horse from the Bed & Breakfast room. There is direct access to horse trails from the Homestead. As we are dog friendly we have a fenced back yard with access via a doggy door. The property is on 20 acres with plenty of room to walk, as well as an opportunity to feed, brush and say hello to our 3 Highland cows. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and property and will be happy to interact with you as you desire. We are equally at home with inviting you to join us for a drink, as we are leaving you to enjoy the tranquility and activities that you will discover on our property and the surrounding area. Strath Creek has lots to offer with activities such as fishing, mountain bike riding, hiking and sight seeing. We provide maps and information suggesting what to do in the area. There are places to eat from as close as 2.5km to 22km from us, including both restaurants and pubs. Mt Buggery is the hill opposite our property which can be climbed, giving magnificent views of our part of the Valley of 1000 Hills. There are also several wineries and artisanal products to be discovered. Coming by car is the easiest way to get to us and to get around the area. If you were planning a visit where you could hang out and just enjoy the immediate vicinity - the nearest train station is Broadford and we would be happy to collect and drop you off.
