The apartment is in the historic center of this small town of Tarouca where the friendliness of its people and the history that surrounds us will surely amaze you. The flat is quiet, very bright and modern, being only a few minutes by car from the main tourist attractions in the area. The bucolic environment will be a constant, that allow you to enjoy the most beautiful sceneries of Portugal. The apartment is located in the Varosa valley, where you can visit, for example, the Fortified Tower and Bridge of Ucanha, Monastery of "São João de Tarouca", Monastery of "Salzedas", Roman Bridge of "Mondim da Beira", "Santa Helena" moutain, the Sanctuary of "Nossa Senhora dos Remédios" and the Douro River, classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO. During the summer there is an extremely friendly public swimming pool about 10 minutes walk, perfect for some relaxing family moments. For the more adventurous, there are different river beaches in the surroundings where you can have good dives.
