COVID Aware - Lovely 4 bedroom home in the Adelaide Hills village of Nairne, hosted by a mature and broadminded couple. 1 double room is available. Just re-opened! Please Note: We are currently NOT accepting bookings from people who have been in another state within the last 14 days. All guests MUST be triple vaxed. Please verify with your booking otherwise it will not be accepted. WHAT IS "HOSTED BnB?" In hosted BnB, you stay with a hosting family, as their guest, in the same residence. Hosted BnB Lovely 3 bedroom home in the Adelaide Hills village of Nairne, hosted by a mature and broad-minded couple. 1 double room with queen bed available. Magnificent Spa bathroom as a shared bathroom with any other guests. Lovely private gardens and outdoor entertaining areas. Lunch and dinner by professional chef available at extra cost. Limited off-street parking is available. Wireless internet, scan facilities are available in the office. We have pets as well who occupy our space including, a cat that is not permitted in guest rooms at any time, 6 chickens, a family of brushtail possums in the garden, and yes/gulp, a python who lives in a locked terrarium. For guests who are reptile phobic, we can negotiate alternative arrangements for our lovely Albino Python, like moving her out of the common areas. Guests will have access to guest bedroom, shared guest Spa Bathroom, lounge and dining area, laundry, and Kitchen area for tea/coffee. A flat-screen TV, DVD, with over 100 DVDs to choose from for a relaxing evening if required, Wii, X-Box, for the younger ones, a video player, stereo, with a choice of over 400 CDs for your musical enjoyment. A snack platter can be arranged for a minimum cost, while you relax after your eventful day out. There is a small family of Australian Brush Tail Possums who live in their own purpose-built treehouse down in the garden they will often eat fruit from our hands at dusk, and will accept fruit from guests as well, they are quite relaxed when having photos taken. A light continental breakfast is included, however other chef prepared meals are available at extra cost, with notification the evening before. We will try to organise whatever you need to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Nairne is the oldest town in the Adelaide Hills. Aside from a range of historical curiosities, Nairne is centrally located, to many of the Adelaide Hills Wineries as well as the Barossa Valley and The Southern Vales Wine region. Just up the road is Mount Barker, historic Strathalbyn, Hahndorf and many other historic Hills towns. Approximately one hour's drive to the south is the Mouth of the Murray and the magnificent South Coast including Victor Harbour and the Lakes. Personally guided tours are available by arrangement (Extra Cost) A range of local shops and services provide excellent service. Brochures are available in your 'guest handbook'. * Public Transport is limited, approximately 500m walk to bus stop, and not available on Sundays A reminder that we primarily use solar power and water collected on-site. BBQ facilities are available, in a relaxing covered patio area, for your own use. Local butcher located in Nairne, and a large Foodland supermarket 5 minutes drive away, to purchase any foods you require. You also may be required to share bathroom facilities with other guests.
