Bright Double Room in Central Brighton

10 mins from Brighton Station, this is a large lovely flat and family home in a big Edwardian house (with five flats). We are on the ground floor, access is easy (just a couple of steps). You will be staying in a large, light, double room. You will get exclusive use of the loo and bathroom, (they are not ensuite although they are right next door to your bedroom). There is no shower, only a bath. Breakfast includes tea, good coffee, juice, ham, cheese, toast, jam and cereal. Or veggie/vegan. As you can see from the photo this is a double room and accommodates a couple very comfortably. The air mattresses are suitable for children and families, not for groups of party-goers. You can use your bedroom, loo, bathroom (that has a bath but no shower, or shower head) and the kitchen to eat breakfast in. We are happy to answer questions, we are not expecting to hang out with you. We know Brighton very well, Jeff has excellent knowledge of the cultural scene. The neighbourhood is lovely; Seven Dials is a (relatively) busy hub with cafe's, restaurants, pubs and bars. The Laines are very close for quirky, and interesting shopping, as is Churchill Square, where there are loads of high street shops. There is a lovely park, St Anne's Well Gardens, just around the corner with a great cafe. You can walk through this park and down through Brunswick Square where you get a fabulous view of the sea. The parking is on street, you can pay at the meter. You won't always be able to park right outside. The no7 bus goes right past our house, it goes to both Brighton and Hove stations and can take you all the way through town and into the marina if you like. If you want to walk from the stations it is 10mins up a steep hill from Brighton, or 25mins up a gentle incline from Hove. There are tens of cabs everywhere. This is a kid friendly household, babies and children are welcome. We do not have a cot, we do have some good quality blow up mattresses which can be put on the floor for children to sleep on.
