"The Love Shack" Primitive Camping (No Bed)

Firewood is now prepay only* Indiana's best keep secret - The Love Shack - nestled down a long lane in between 2 fields in rural Economy Indiana. Plenty of space for tents/rvs. This place was built by my late grandfather, Tom Bond. He loved to fish, and tinker and this was a place for his grandkids to stay out of trouble. No water or electric. Follow us on social media. Primitive - tent or RV camping only. Shack is only used for storage - there are covered areas you can take shelter under in case of poor weather. Bathroom consists of "outhouse." TP provided. No water, WiFi or electricity- bring your own water. Fish CATCH & RELEASE only!!!! Surveillance is now in place to aid in the prosecution situations. One picnic tables are included and numerous plastic chairs to sit in. One campfire ring (please do not burn trash/cig butts in rings) Firewood $6 per bundle via PRE-PAY only on Ven mo (pay before you arrive and we will leave bundles out for you). Do not cut any of my trees down or go foraging - backside of pond is a wetland and private & protected property. Several docks around the pond to fish from - use at your own risk. There are no dedicated "walking trails," but you can walk around the backside of the one pond (we keep it mowed) and wander down the long lane. No official "cooking area" - bring a grill, cooking stove or cook over the fire. Please do not cook under any roof or on plastic table. Please pack all your trash out. We don't have trash pick up here. All dog/animals feces can be flung in the field! Farmers will appreciate the fertilizer! Lots of big catfish & bluegill - see our F B page for videos of the fish being fed! If you're done fishing for the night or don't fish, bags of fish food are available for $1! It's fun to watch them! All food is stored in containers in shack. They like to eat in the morning or early evening. If you have a low clearance vehicle, drive slow and use caution going down the driveway. You understand that swimming, camping, hiking and fishing is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, camping, hiking and fishing. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, camping, hiking or fishing if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, camps, hikes or fishes while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, camping, hiking or fishing. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host. No internet. No TV. No electricity. No potable water. Turn your phone off and unplug for a weekend! You can come and go as you please, you'll be sent an access code to unlock gate if it is locked (sometimes we just leave it open). House on the curve is rented - please do not disturb the tenants. Do not enter barns. You will be provided with my cell to contact if you need something or have questions. Unless, you need us we will probably not be around. I'll provide my cell in case you need us, have questions or there's an emergency. Local Amish auction house just down the road. Great deals on produce and flowers. Amish school house sits on the corner. Please do not disturb this property - it is not open to the public. Fountain City Acres - Amish owned and operated grocery - deli & bakery Hagerstown and Cambridge City also close by - full of places to antique shop and eat good food. There is a binder inside a tote in the shack with a list of additional places to eat, and things to do. No public transit. We may request no fires if conditions are too dry and fields are ready for harvest. PUT YOUR FIRE OUT WHEN YOU LEAVE! ALWAYS! (Bucket provided) If you smoke, put your butts in the trash! Do NOT leave them on the ground or in fire pit! No smoking under roof or in any building! Limited Emergency supplies (bug spray, paper towels & trash bags - just in case you forgot!) are in metal locker outside shack. TP in plastic tote in outhouse. You may see other wildlife on this property. Please don't harm, catch or feed them. Dispose of all food waste in your trash bag and take with you.
