A quiet, light room with comfortable double bed in our house on the edge of the village of Avening, set back off the road up a short lane, originally an old forge . Table and chairs. Own bathroom . 100% cotton sheets and luxury towels. Convenient for Westonbirt Arboretum, NT Dyrham and Newark Park. Close to the Cotswold Way and Macmillan Way. Please note: lane leading to our property is very narrow for a 4x4. The guest accommodation is within our house but at the far end, semi self-contained, and it is very quiet here. We are happy to give advice about local walks and amenities. We are set back off the road, up a lane which may seem rather narrow if you have a large 4x4! Quiet Cotswold village with two pubs serving food and access to local walks. We have one cat! Not allowed in the guest accommodation but very occasionally - cats being cats and knowing where to find the cleanest, whitest and most comfortable bed - he has, unbeknown to anyone, found his way there! (Remarkable how some cats can pass through closed doors!) Seriously, if you are not a cat-lover, he will be strictly policed.
