Delightful cottage in the mountains

Our one bedroom, one bath cottage is bright, cool, and airy. Its bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a full size futon in the living room. You'll enjoy its full kitchen and private deck. High speed WiFi is available. You get the entire place to yourself. A full kitchen, a bath with large soaking tub and washer dryer, patio and comfortable living room with piano and WiFi access. You are only three and a half miles from downtown Tehachapi with easy access to all the surrounding attractions. If necessary for small children, we can help you accommodate more than 4. You have private parking and may come and go as you like. We are on a main road and, although it snows in the winter, our elevation is low enough that winter access is not a problem, with no 4-wheel drive requirements in force. Our road has bike paths on it, and town is a straight-shot downhill, 3 miles with no pedaling required! You will want a car, however, as there is no local bus service. Tehachapi is a wonderful area, an island of natural beauty and temperate climate between two hot arid desert valleys. We host a burgeoning wine industry, and thanks to well-connected locals, excellent folk music acts, including those who normally play much larger venues.
