One of strong point is the accommodation is near to popular points of interest. “The Gangneung Danoje Festival”, designated a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2005 and Important Intangible Cultural Property No. 13 in Korea in 1967, is held on a 10-minute walk (0.8km) site from the accommodation. “Gangneung Dadohobu Government Office”, a venue for several cultural events, including ‘Gangneung Cultural Heritage Night’ and ‘Myeong-Ju Puppet Festival’, is within a 5-minute drive (1km). “Anmok Beach” is within a 15-minute drive (6km), which is considered one of the most beautiful coffee streets nationwide and holds a coffee festival in spring and fall. “Ojukheon”, a famous residence of a politician of Joseon Dynasty built in the 1500s, is also within a 12-minute drive (4km) from the accommodation. “Gangneung Jungang Market”, “Wolhwa Street” and downtown Gangneung is also only within a 5-minute walk from the accommodation. KTX Gangneung Station (train) is a 1.4km away, and Gangneung Express Bus Terminal is about 2.35km away. The nearest bus stops are located on only 200m a way (Namdaecheon-Gangneunggyo Bus Stop) from the guesthouse. At there, you can take buses to ‘Jeongdongjin’ and ‘Jumunjin Beach’. Very next to the bus stop, there is a taxi stop where you can catch a taxi easily.
