Welcome to our cosy and quiet B and B. Your room has been freshly cleaned and is ready for you to forget the day's worries and relax in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. We are Airbnb guests ourselves, so we know how important it is to have a worry-free place to lay your head at the end of the day. We are warm, friendly people who will respect your privacy and welcome your company. Pickle, our toy poodle, will probably win your heart but won't bother you if you're not a "dog person". There is a bicycle, helmet and lock available for guests' use. You'll have a cosy, comfortable room to stay in; warm in winter and cool in summer. You'll have your own bathroom and toilet. You'll enjoy use of the kitchen and living areas and will be more than welcome if you want to join us in front of the TV. Small pets will be considered. We have a small dog and two cats, so your pet must be well socialised, enjoy the company of other animals, and not be a chaser. North Lake suburb takes its name from one of the the extensive freshwater lakes in the area. A walk through some of the protected wetlands is highly recommended. For more of an adrenalin thrill, you might prefer Adventure World, which is only minutes away. Fremantle's cafe strip and attractions are less than 20 minutes' drive away, as are its world class southern beaches. Even closer is WA's health flagship, Fiona Stanley Hospital. A twenty minute drive will have you in downtown Perth, and the airport is less than half an hour away. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, we want to keep ourselves and our guests as safe as possible. We ask that you install the CovidSafe app on your mobile device before staying with us. Perth can get very hot in the summer, but the main living area is air conditioned. We keep the bedrooms cool with fans, and the windows can be opened (they have fly screens) when the night air cools off. In heat-wave conditions, we will move a portable aircon unit into your room.
