We have a a great chef that will also visit your villa, so there really is no need to leave, the only thing to do is relax, soak up the sun, take in the amazing views and enjoy the locally produced sangrias! If you book your autumn/winter escape to the sun with us, we will provide free car rental (small car only) and a complimentary welcome hamper for your arrival! Upon entering this lovely villa there is a spacious hallway affording access to the lounge and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms one double and one twin, family bathroom and stairway access to the upper floor. The ample sized lounge has a comfortable traditional three piece suite and a dining table and chairs. There is a flat screen TV set up to receive UK Freeview channels, just in case you want to sit and relax and catch up with the news away from the hot Summer sun, and also audio facilities should you require to simply listen to the music of your choice. The family bathroom has an over bath shower, toilet, bidet and sink. In summary, all you could possibly need for your well-deserved Spanish vacation. The lounge leads directly, via a patio door, onto a large terrace and the pool area. The outside area is ideal for al fresco dining so why not strike up the gas BBQ so you can get out of the kitchen and enjoy those balmy warm nights, alfreso dining and making use of the pool when ever you wish! The transfer time to and from the airport, approximately 25 minutes and not a single set of traffic lights between the villa and the airport, is easy and stress free. Villa Los Olivos is a private and independent villa, you will have access to the entire villa and facilities. I will be on hand to meet you at the villa upon arrival, give you the villa keys and offer any local information that you require. Situated between the historic Alicante and lively Benidorm, this villa has everything a family or friends could wish for! Transfer time from Alicante airport is just 20minute drive, just five minute drive in to the centre of the large Spanish town of El Campello which boasts 18km of golden sand! The bay of Cala Merced is a small quiet and relaxed area, with a great sandy beach, great for children as it is very safe, a lifeguard is on duty during the peak season. There are two beach bars, open every day, and you can also hire sunbeds and parasols here, with live music at the weekends. The local tram station a ten minute walk, running every hour in to Campello centre and on to Alicante and in the other direction to Villa Joyosa and Benidorm, a great way to see the coast line and eliminates the requirement to drive. If getting out and about exploring new sites floats your boat there is no better way than to take the air conditioned tram along the coastline. Especially if you have children in your party, why not head off up to Benidorm to take in all the thrills and spills of the many great theme parks, water parks and zoos, a must for any family to go and enjoy. For the quieter types, head to Alicante and wander through the old narrow streets in the pueblo or meander down the beautiful mosaicked tiled promenade or maybe take the lift up to the old Santa Barbara Castle and wonder at the incredible panoramic views from high up in the crows nest! The local town centre of El Campello is a short drive or tram ride away from the villa. With its 18km of golden sandy beaches, long promenade with many bars and restaurants, children’s play areas and lovely marina (offering all types of water excursions) it justifies many worthwhile visits. Don’t miss out on a visit to the popular Wednesday market, and experience a kaleidoscope of colourful fruit and flowers, all at bargain prices.
