Mi casa es su casa! My home is your home! Gitano House is a boutique accommodation haven, a short walk from the beach and set amongst a lush backdrop in Kabalana, South Sri Lanka. This queen suite is spacious and contains hotel quality bed linen, mattress and pillows, bathroom towels, chair and writing desk, bedside tables, shelving, water, fan, wifi and Moroccan styling. This balcony level suite has an open air bathroom and verandah space overlooking the Mexican/Moroccan inspired garden. At Gitano House, the jungle meets the sea. From our rooftop space you can check the surf while the back of our property connects into the jungle. We have two water bodies in our space, the swimming pool and pond. Adding a tranquil calming feel to your time with us. Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu will be changing daily with fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables, fish and meats. Our aim is to source our produce daily and from the local community. We will be serving juices, smoothies, teas and coffee throughout the day. We are a 7 minute walk to Kabalana beach and a 5 minute tuk tuk to Ahangama town centre- supermarkets, ATM, medical centres, liquor stores and police station. The guests will have access to the rooftop space, the garden dining area, the Moroccan style lounge over looking the property, the rock seating in our front garden and the swimming pool. While you are here we want you to have your rest and relaxation. We live on site so if you need anything we are always there to help you. Gitano House is set in Kabalana, a fishing village just outside of Ahangama. Our property is calm and quiet, a haven set amongst nature away from all of the hustle and bustle. We are a 7 minute away from the squeaky white sand and superb turquoise waters of Kabalana beach- The home of ‘The Rock’ surf break, known as the best A frame break in the country. We are surrounded with plentiful surf options to the left and right of our property- there is something for all skill levels and we provide a surf information guide in each of our rooms. A 15 minute drive to the eccentric Galle Fort. We can arrange your pickup, whether it’s from the airport, Galle train station or another location within Sri Lanka. Pre booking assures you with availability. While staying with us we can assist you with transport via ‘tuk tuk’.
