Double room with large private bathroom in 1920s house in quiet road, close to shops and 15 minute walk from Haywards Heath mainline station for fast trains to Gatwick, Brighton and London. The accommodation is close to the Princess Royal Hospital, National Trust properties, including Wakehurst Place, Nyman's Gardens and Sheffield Park and stunning landscape - South Downs and Ashdown Forest. Joanna, your host lives with her teenage daughter. The room is a loft conversion and has a large Victorian style bathroom with deep bath. There is no shower, but the bath has a shower attachment for washing hair but is not suitable for stand up showers. There are drawers for storage and books and magazines to read. Help yourself to tea and coffee and feel free to bring your own food to make your meals. There are restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute walk. Host works from home and is around to answer questions. Please liase with me regarding time of arrival because I may be out at work. House is close to Victoria park, shops and great restaurants. Ideally situated for guests flying into Gatwick, Haywards Heath is one stop on the train to the airport and a 20 minute drive away. Help yourself to kitchen facilities, but please provide your own food. Park on my drive and walk 15 mins to the train station for fast trains to Brighton, London, Hastings, Southampton and Gatwick. Parking is also available at the station for around £6 a day. There are some great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Train station for fast trains to Gatwick airport, Brighton and London is a 15 min walk away. The Princess Royal Hospital is a 20 minute walk away.
