We are a community of global nomads, farming WWOOFers, artists and more. Very social bunch. You will have access to our 24 hour snack bar. We are transitioning away from a business, so there's boxes and clutter in the common areas. but the sleeping area is separate from that chaos. We have a great deck for morning al fresco breakfast with the wildlife, and a fire circle for night time bonfires for the adventurers. Indoor space is comfy. Outside we also provide camping tents if needed. In reality, we often have more space and beds available even if we appear to be booked. Please inquire, we may be able to accommodate you. If you are feeling adventurous, we even have tents you can pitch on our beautiful lawn! We love meeting people from around the world. We are social and love to share food and stories. Or, we'll respect your desire for peace and quiet and solitude. We are here all day to help with coordinating your travel logistics. We can offer a pick up from the train station and drop you off there as well. We can help you arrange for a rental car if you need one. We've been able to assist everyone with doing this easily. We have an enchanted garden in our back yard! Innisfree Garden. We are in a quiet residential neighborhood, on a hilltop. Most people can't find us easily since you can't see our house from the road. We like it that way. Numbers on our road are NOT sequential, you have to look for the house number on the mail posts. Public transportation is available but not at our door. That's why we'll bring you here, and take you to the bus or train. We'll pick you up as well. Of course if you have your own car, we'll help you navigate if you have any challenges. If you have no car, we can shuttle you to / from your day trips in a 15 minute radius - Vassar, Marist, CIA, FDR, Vallkill, Innisfree, Morse House, Vanderbilt Mansion, Beatrix Farrand Headquarters. We'll also day trip you to Whitecliff Vineyards for a small charge. Clean linens and fully stocked house. InnisFree Garden is minutes away from here! One of the top 10 gardens of the world.
