We only take shortstays. Up to 14 nights or less. Very clean, modern, quiet accommodation which is like a self-contained one bedroom unit (Queen Sized bed) and totally private with your own entrance, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Dining area and roomy lounge room. Quiet home in a bush land setting, on the bus route. Close to Major shops, Flinders Medical Centre and University. Quiet hours from midnight to 7am. No off-street parking or washing machine. LGBTQ welcome. Two quiet and relaxed middle-aged ladies live in a separate, self-contained part of the house. We are retired. You will not share your part of the house at all. We have our own entrance. Your accommodation is a very comfortable 1 -bedroom unit-sized front section of the house. It is self-contained and we do not access it during your stay. We have everything you need for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Gas heating in the lounge room and portable, convection heater in the bedroom along with a quality, queen sized electric blanket. The lounge room has r/c air-conditioner and a ceiling fan and the bedroom has a tower fan. You have your own full kitchen with utensils and fridge. A bathroom with a bath and separate shower (with glass door - no shower curtains!) and a separate toilet room. We have instant gas hot water. We have unlimited high-speed WiFi. There is a small digital TV with in-built DVD player in the bedroom and there is another larger digital TV in your lounge room. We are happy to discuss any other needs you may have, so please enquire. The whole of this 1-bedroom unit is private for your stay. We do not access this unit, nor the kitchen. We aim to provide secure, private and modern accommodation in a home-like atmosphere. We can offer assistance with suggestions of places to visit etc. and will treat your privacy with the utmost respect. We have busy lives so do not expect to socialise with guests. Curfew for loud music, TV, cooking etc. is strictly between midnight and 7am. If you are a night owl, this is not a suitable arrangement for our accommodation. Burning of incense, candles, aromatherapy etc is NOT permitted. Our home is located in Bellevue Heights, South Australia, Australia. We are 4 kms from a major Hospital (Flinders Medical) and Flinders University and The Intensive English Language Institute, just before Flinders Uni. Westfield Marion shopping centre is on the bus route and 15 mins away. Apart from the shopping, it houses the Event Cinemas with Gold Class and VPlex. There are great bush walking tracks just behind the house which backs onto 6,000 acres of bush land. We are right on a bus route as well. Brighton Beach (arguably the best beach in Adelaide) is a 15 minute drive or 8 kms away. On the way to Brighton Beach is the amazing SA Aquatic Centre ( 10 minutes), the outdoor Marion Swimming Centre 13 mins (in season) and the Indoor Swim Centre on Morphett Road. There are buses to the city (stops are a minute away) and trains from Blackwood, which is 2kms away. We are central to the city (to the north), The Hills wine district (to the east), Brighton and Glenelg Beaches (to the West) and McLaren Vale Wine Region and the Fleurieu Penninsula wonderland of beaches, pubs, breweries, wineries, music venues, scuba diving etc. (to the south). Getting around We have a bus stop 1 minute walk from the door and railway stations 2kms away. We have Uber and Taxi services available as well. We have bus and train close by. We have good, local Uber drivers and a local personal driver service. We have wonderful walking tracks a block away from our house and the Belair National park has wonderful walking and picnic facilities about 10 minutes drive from us. We are 25 minutes drive from the airport to the west and 25 minutes drive to the city, north. We have a key lock-box for guests requiring self-check in or out of hours check-in/check out. Please let us know your requirements. Early check-in might be available as is late check out (for additional fees) - both must be arranged prior to stay where possible. Please enquire.
