Anglesey Shepherds Hut - Bryn
One of two delightful shepherds huts set in a 5 acre working smallholding with fabulous views over open countryside towards Snowdonia. This hut, Bryn, which means hill in Welsh, has a fixed kingsize bed. The huts, hand-built to our design, are warm and cosy with electric heating, their own en-suite showers and gas cookers. The huts suit adult couples, looking for a quiet break. Each hut has its own firepit and BBQ, outdoor seating and blankets so you can sit and stargaze on a clear night. The two huts are situated 50 yards apart, making them private spaces, but they are close enough together for someone looking for a holiday with friends. You can park your car and take a short walk down the hill to the hut! To get Bryn into position with a good view, we created a bank for it to sit on. This does mean that there is a steep slope just outside the hut – so you’re welcome to use a flat clearing on top of the hill where you will find a picnic table. Wellies are advised! The huts are on the hosts' smallholding, and the hosts will pop in after you arrive to check all is well and answer any questions; otherwise they will leave you to your own devices unless you need anything. Llanfaethlu is a small village a mile from the beach, and there is a shop, post office and cafe all in walking distance. The North West coast of Anglesey is an area of outstanding natural beauty with amazing coastal walks and opportunities for birdwatching. It's a short drive to the holiday resorts on the South coast for surfing, shopping and eating. We are situated on the A5025, ten minutes from the A55 North Wales Expressway, and there is a regular bus service from the village to Holyhead, from where trains connect to the rest of the UK and ferries to Ireland.
