Hello, we are Anna and Americo Ferrara and we welcome you to our elegant and comfortable B&B, near Pompeii and Vesuvius. In Striano you can dine in one of the various restaurants to sample, at reasonable prices, local specialties. The B & B is 50 meters away from the Circumvesuviana (Striano station) with which, conveniently and quickly, you can reach Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Sorrento, Pozzuoli; it is 2 km away from the A30, exit at Sarno, to easily reach Caserta, Salerno, Benevento, Paestum and the Cilento and all the other wonderful places in Campania. At about 3 km there is the International Kartodromo "Naples", which hosts the Go Kart World Championship races. The B & B is located: 5 km from the Vesuvius National Park, 10 km from Pompei, 15 km from Herculaneum, 25 Km from Naples, 20 km from Salerno, 35 kilometers from Caserta, 30 km from Ravello and 35 Km from Amalfi, 40 Km from Sorrento Living room with equipped kitchen and panoramic terrace - solarium, on the third floor of our house. Washing machine available on request. We love helping guests plan their excursions by providing timetables and costs; and we recommend restaurants or pizzerias where you eat well and pay little! Striano is NOT a tourist city, but a small town where you still live as it once was: there are the courtyards of the historic center where the old ladies, during the beautiful days, entertain themselves to chat and knit and crochet; there are the bars where you stop after work for a coffee and to discuss the latest village events; there are pizzerias and trattorias where you can eat a good pizza or a good plate of pasta or a tasty steak, at reasonable prices. A country where everyone knows each other ... almost a big family! (Philip) - Striano may not be in Naples or on the beach but it is close to Pompeii and a short drive to Sorrento. (Sancia) With the Circumvesuviana train, - which does not circulate at night - you can easily reach Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Pozzuoli. The A30 motorway, 2 km away, allows you to reach all the most beautiful places in Campania. The "Capodichino" airport is 25 km away and can be reached by highway in 20 minutes. The Circumvesuviana train, a short distance from the B&B, is an added value for guests who can reach tourist destinations without the stress of traffic or parking. The train only runs during the day, so it doesn't disturb sleep at night! Furthermore, the windows are insulated and noise-proof.
