Cozy room near OHSU (host vaccinated)
Welcome to our home, a beautiful old house built in 1910 that we have been giving a complete makeover since we purchased it. I am also fully vaccinated. The location of this house makes it great for getting around Portland. OHSU and the South Waterfront are a ten minute walk from your room. Access to public transportation to the heart of Portland, and other parts of town is literally three blocks away. A protected bike path to downtown and bike rentals are along this route. **We are in the process of making some minor decor changes. The space may not match the pictures on our listing** On a clear day, you can enjoy a view of Mount Hood from the living room! We are one of the closer BnBs to OHSU. If you're here for an interview, you can walk to the lower buildings in ten minutes. The upper buildings are accessible by an aerial tram also ten minutes away (currently closed to the public due to the pandemic). Getting to downtown by bus will take you no more than thirty minutes by bus (this includes walking to, and waiting for the bus). The new MAX Orange line, which takes you to vibrant southeast Division and Clinton streets is a ten minute walk away. From here you can access everything cool in SE Portland. We are close to the freeway, but your room is up away from most of the traffic noise and there is a white noise machine in the bedroom as well just in case. You'll have access to the main floor of the house, including your room, a shared bathroom, the kitchen, living room and dining room. Upstairs is our bedroom, and is a private area. I've stocked and labeled a cabinet in the kitchen with a selection of coffee and teas that you can help yourself to whenever you like. You will be given very detailed instructions for check in and check out. Our neighborhood has a 4 hour parking limit, any longer than that requires a pass that you will have to get from the city. We want your stay in Portland to be great, so we will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, religious preference or sexual orientation. Please contact us anytime with questions/comments/concerns. We will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
