There is a lot to see and do on the North Island’s central plateau. This cozy cottage features a Queen bed, Single bed, double whirlpool spa bath, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette with stovetop and microwave, tea/coffee facilities, heat pump, electric blankets and a private garden courtyard. You might just like to settle in and relax locally. Walk beside the lake or along the Waikato River to Huka Falls. Bike to cafes and boutique shops. Kayaks and bicycles are available to hire. Reception is open daily from 8.00am - 9.00pm. We can provide recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Lake Taupo is close to Tongariro National Park’s mountains and skifields, the magical Waitomo Caves, Rotorua’s thermal sights and Maori cultural attractions, and the art deco seaside city of Napier.
