Junior Master Suite in St Ives (1 or 2 bedrooms)

The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor of our lovely double-storey home is good for singles, couples or families with children. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 King single beds (or can be combined to a Queen bed). Both rooms have study tables. Our place has a formal lounge, dining area, outdoor covered entertainment area with a BBQ next to a solar heated pool. There is air conditioning and heating in all rooms and living areas. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, our home has 3 recently renovated bathrooms, a modern kitchen which flows into a large family room and dining area. There is also a rumpus room stocked with toys for kids, and a private covered entertainment area next to the solar heated pool (which is fully fenced for safety). The house has central heating and cooling in all bedrooms, the formal and family lounges, dining room and rumpus. Our street is always brightly lit at nights and our neighbourhood is very safe :) Our place is also exceptionally convenient, an easy walk to buses (direct to the city) and is a short bus ride to the train station (Gordon) and shops. There is a back entrance to the house, which is very close to the Junior Master Suite and optional second bedroom. Both rooms are both recently renovated with new carpets and wardrobes. The laundry (with washing machine and dryer) and your own private bathroom are conveniently located near the bedrooms. Our bedroom, kids' bedroom and bathroom are all upstairs so you will have some privacy. Guests have access to the common shared areas including the formal and family lounges, kitchen, dining room, laundry, pool, backyard and entertainment area except for the garden shed in the backyard. Guests may park their cars anywhere in our cul-de-sac provided that you are not blocking any of our neighbours' driveways. Guests may call, text or email me at any time and I will endeavour to reply within 2 hours. Please CALL me if you have any urgent requests so I can help you asap. I will also give you my husband's mobile no (he is my co-host) to call in case I can't pick up your call or you can't reach me for any reason whatsoever. St Ives is a lovely leafy suburb in the north of Sydney. Many families call this place home. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, parks / playgrounds / nature trails and shops in St Ives. Our favourite shopping spot is St Ives Village which has everything we need including Coles, Woolworths, Harris Farm, Asian grocery, bakeries, pharmacists, wine and liquor shop, adults and kids clothes / shoes / accessories shops, cafes / restaurants, Post Office, banks, dry cleaners, hairdressers, manicure / massage / spa salons, florists, pet shops and other speciality shops. There are buses that go direct to the city as well as buses that go to Gordon station within a short walk from our place. 5 mins' walk (350m) to bus stop for buses that go to the closest train station (Gordon). 11 mins' walk for buses that go directly to the city. 5 mins' drive to shops, restaurants and cafes. 8 mins' drive to train station. 15 mins' drive to Chatswood, Macquarie University and Macquarie Park. 25 mins' drive to the city (Sydney CBD). 30 mins' drive to Manly Beach and Dee Why Beach. You must have a government verified ID and have at least 1 prior good review from another host. We try to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide fresh linen and towels upon your arrival. All rooms have air conditioning and heating. There is free unlimited high-speed wifi available in the entire house. Please note that the standard nightly rate is for 1 or 2 guests, and for ONE room. If you are booking for 2 guests and TWO rooms (i.e. 1 room per person), please send us a message or request and we will send you the price for 2 rooms (approx $155*). Also, if you will only be booking 1 room, we assume you will be booking the Master bedroom which is approximately (depending on whether it is peak or non-peak period) $85 per night*. However, if you have 3 or 4 guests (including children above 2 years old), then you will have to book both rooms as it is a maximum of 2 guests per room. The second bedroom is approximately $70 per night*. (Pls note that Air BnB only allows us to charge rates on a per room basis so pls message us on the exact number of guests for your stay and we will send you a special offer with the prices for the room(s)). Summary: 1 room (1 or 2 guests) ~ $85 per room per night* 2 rooms (2 to 4 guests in total) ~ $155 for both rooms per night* 3 rooms (3 to 5 guests in total) ~ $200 for all 3 rooms per night* *(may be slightly higher for weekend rates, and subject to usual cleaning Air BnB service charges). There is no extra charge for children below 2 years old. We are happy to provide a baby cot and/or playpen free of charge. Please let me know if you have babies or young children and if you need a baby bath tub, high chair or any other special requests. We have also provided children's plastic cups, plates and cutlery in the kitchen. Our kitchen is also fully stocked with the usual cooking oil, olive oil, salt and pepper (black and white pepper), flour, butter, sugar, soya sauce, ketchup, mustard, spices etc. All pots, pans, spatulas and cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, wineglasses and bottle openers etc are provided. We have an Italian coffee machine and provide complimentary coffee beans, or if you prefer, we alsl have instant coffee, Milo and a wide selection of tea, and sugar.
