Located in Joliet’s historic Cathedral Area this cozy coach house is a block from the University of St. Francis, a half mile from the beautiful Haley Mansion, one mile from downtown Joliet's Union Station, and just five miles to the Chicagoland Speedway. This coach house is all yours with plenty of space to prepare meals, work, and get some needed rest. *This space Does Not have a living room *The coach house has two bedrooms both with a big screen smart TV loaded with Hulu Live and Disney+. Bedroom one has a queen bed, dresser and night table. Bedroom two has a full size bed with a walk in closet. Enjoy a warm soak in the claw foot tub or take a shower before you head out for the day. The eat-in kitchen provides you space for cooking and a table that seats four to enjoy a meal, have a conversation, or get some work done. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker with plenty of pods to meet your caffeine needs. We also provide sweeteners and creamer. The cupboards are filled with the basics you need for meal preparation including pots, pans, and cooking utensils. *Please be aware the floors can be chilly in the winter ❄️ The property has smart locks that are integrated with Airbnb. The system will auto-generate and send you the access code for your stay. The we also have a security camera near the front door for safety. There is free onsite parking on a small parking lot next to the Coach House. Please park in the spot nearest the Coach House. Or feel free to parking on Jersey Ave. No permits required. We really enjoy meeting our guests, but often understand they have packed schedule. Our neighborhood relatively quiet. We are located in the Cathedral Area with a number of beautiful Queen Anne and Victorian homes. We enjoy walking the neighborhood with mature trees and these vintage homes. We recommend Western Ave and Buell Ave between Nicholson and Raynor. The University of St Francis owns property on our block so we benefit from the schools security patrolling our area around the clock. There is a bus route about a block from our place which will take you downtown to Union Station where you can take Metra trains to Chicago or take Amtrak to a much further destination. Uber, Lift, and taxis are available.
