James House (Apartment) Silverwood & Coeur d'Alene

The apartment (600sf) has morning sun. The Place has full kitchen, and private bathroom. Bedroom has Queen bed. Living room has a Twin hide-a-bed. A Single size roll out bed in the closet can be rolled to wherever is comfortable. Besides house heat, there is a gas fireplace and radiant heater is bedroom. There is a key to the apartment door and coded metal Airbnb door for all Airbnb guests to the outside, if other rooms are booked. Utility room (washer, dryer) next to apart. is for your use. This place is a country setting that is in the middle of many things for you to come and see. Or it's just a place for you to just come and get away from the buzzling world and relax. The area with its lakes and activities, or just relax. The apartment is all yours, with access to the shared washer and dryer. The kitchen is there for your use only and there grocery stores are near by. (Super1, Albertsons, Costco, WinCo) Restaurants are also near by. Driveway Parking is available in front of cone. Any questions about the area I am more then willing to help and I have books and pamphlets for things to see in the basket. James house is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The front of James House looks at Rathdrum mountain (5014') to the west and to the east there is a horse pasture with the Coeur d'Alene mountains behind. James House is situated with Lake Coeur d'Alene to the south, Hayden lake to the east, Lake pend oreille to the northeast, Twin lake and Spirit lake to the northwest. Tourist town of Coeur d'Alene has places to eat, shopping and walks/hikes at Tubbs Hill, overlooking the lake. Farragut State Park is on the south end of Lake Pend Oreille with beaches, camping, biking, hiking. Bird Aviation and Invention Center is worth seeing. It is northeast of James house. People that visit this museum are always impressed. The tourist town of Sandpoint is on the North end of Lake Pend Oreille. Schweitzer ski resort overlooks the North end of Lake Pend oreille. It's a great place to ski in the winter and riddled with activities in the summer. Public transportation is not available in this area, but you can rent a car at the Spokane International Airport (1hr) or from Enterprize car rental in Coeur d'Alene. Sunset Taxi Service is also available Coeur d'Alene. Silverwood Theme Park is just north of James House (12min). It has roller coasters, water rides, amusement rides, arcade, train, shows, Boulder Beach water park, food and stores. Triple Play Amusement Park south of James House (15min). this place has amusement games, miniature golf, go-kart rides and more. Lake Coeur d'Alene is to the south, Hayden lake is to the southeast, Lake Pend Oreille is to the northeast. Farragut State Park is on the southern end of Lake Pend Oreille. The Brig museum history of the former navy base. Beaver Bay has a great swimming hole. This lake can be cooler because it is 1200 ft deep. (30 min) Bird Aviation and invention Center is located south of James house Coeur d'Alene airfield. People that visit this place are never disappointed. (10 min) Coeur d'Alene is on beautiful lake Coeur d'Alene and is a tourist town. (30 minutes away) It has lots of good restaurants, shopping and walks on Tubbs Hill overlooking the lake. There is also boat tours on the lake. The small tourist town of Sandpoint is north of James House about 45 minutes. It is on the north end of Lake Pend Oreille. A great place for food and shopping. Schweitzer Ski Resort is overlooking the north end of Lake Pend Oreille. It's a great place for skiing in the winter and riddled with activities in the summer. Schweitzer village is a fun place to visit winter and summer. (1 hr 15 minutes away) Wallace the historical mining town is an hour east of James House on I-90. Hiawatha bike trail is the old Hiawatha railroad tracks through North Idaho. Over 15 miles of railroad track has been converted into a beautiful and gentle downhill biking and walking trail. There are ten tunnels, including the 1.7 mile St. Paul Pass Tunnel, and seven trestle bridges up to 230 feet high. It's a popular trail and Bikes, helmets & lights, picnic food service, plus day use passes and shuttle tickets are all available at the Lookout Pass ski area. (1.5 hrs) The city of Spokane Washington is an hour west of James House if yours wanting a bigger city. It does have some nice parks and things to see. (Riverfront Park, Manito Park, Japanese garden, Green bluff)
