Small town charm in convenient location

Sunny & bright bedroom with private shower bath and adjoining sitting room with comfortable futon and large desk. Long-term guests welcome! Second floor suite with in-room refrigerator, Keurig, microwave, toaster oven and safe. Large flat screen TV with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV and Hulu. TV at desk can be used for streaming or as large monitor with laptop (HDMI cord required). Keypad entry on house front and rear entrances. Feel free to use the outdoor hot tub, deck, and grill. There is an in-room compact refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster oven and Keurig, but you are welcome to use the kitchen as well. This is my family home. When not at work, we will likely be at home. Family members live nearby in case we are out of the area during your stay. This quaint 200+ year old town has several nearby parks, family restaurants, basic shopping, and is conveniently located near major traffic routes. Walking distance to Corn Cob Acres & Field of Screams, and minutes from Tanger Outlet, Hersheypark & Chocolate World, Spooky Nook Sports complex, Columbia Antique markets, Strasburg Railroad, Amish attractions & farm markets, bike trails, and local music & theater. Cars are the most convenient mode of transportation, but Red Rose Transit bus route to Lancaster and Columbia stops 1/4 mile away. Uber and Lyft are available. We have several indoor cats. They are mostly kept out of the suite. There is no private entrance to the suite. The suite is self-contained, but guests will need to walk through the house. The suite will be spotless when guests arrive, but please remember that we "live" in the rest of the house. We may be cooking, or have projects in progress. From September thru early November, Field of Screams runs on the farm behind the house. There is likely to be noise from that until late at night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, especially if the windows are open. Clean sheets and cleaning supplies provided for long-term stays (over 7 days).
