“The den of the dormhouse"

"The den of the dormhouse" is absorbed in the nature, to around 900 m. altitude, and it's perfect both for summer vacations and for winter vacations. The house is found in the Pesio Valley, that is distinguished for the amazing beauty of its Natural Park, surmounted by Monte Marguareis (the most beautiful summit in the Alps Marittime). The Park is aspired destination of the lovers of the trekking, mountain bike, fishing, mushroom picking and of the skiers (cross-country/downhill). The house is located inside an estate called "The two walnut-trees", constituted by 4 hectares of fenced ground and 3 real estate ownerships: besides her "Den of the dormouse" proposed, there are in fact a secondary house of medium dimensions, “The house of the swallows" and a drier in stone, "The nest of the blackbird". The surrounding ground the lodging is cultivated with fruit trees of all the types (apples, pears, peaches, khaki, plums, pears, kiwi, etcetera) and plants of brushwood (blueberries, currant), besides it is also constituted by a wooded part crossed by a small river. The house is full of light and with a fascinating sight on the mountains and the woods that surround it. It is a large two-storey house consisting of large rooms. On the ground floor there are: - a large kitchen, also equipped with a wood-burning stove, with a large oval table where you can comfortably eat up to 10/12 people; - a very large living room, with a fireplace, connected to the large kitchen; - a complete external bathroom also used as a laundry; - large livable entrance, with large windows, which is accessed, by means of a comfortable staircase, on the first floor. On the first floor there are: - three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one of which is in one of the bedrooms; - a large living room which leads to the three bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is equipped with independent heating and a TV set in the large living room and in one of the three bedrooms. As for the outdoor spaces directly related to the accommodation, there are very private dehors in front of the kitchen and the entrance below, equipped with tables, chairs and deckchairs. Since 2000, this is our family's vacation home, in which, over the years, objects, photographs, books, documents and various materials have flowed from our life experiences and, above all, those of our parents. The guests, therefore, will also be surrounded by this "personal world" of ours, which we have decided to share according to the more original spirit of Airbnb, while continuing to reserve calendar dates for our stays. We trust in the respect of the guests of our things. Guests can have access anywhere, whether in the ground outside the estate (4 hectares in total) or in the spaces inside the house. Guests can gather to eat any fruit from any tree or bush that is inside the estate. We give space to the guests but we are available when they have need (if possible personally otherwise through a person entrusted by us). Valle Pesio is in the heart of the Alpi Maritime and is distinguished for the beauty of the woods and the mountains that surround it. Particularly it is to signal the thick one of the Marguareis dipped in the Natural Park of the tall Valley Pesio. In winter in the Park can be made some beautiful walks with the ciaspoles or can practiced the ski leading on a beautiful footstep that the whole park crosses or you can go in different skiing stations that are at about 30' by car to practice downhill skiing (Artesina, Frabosa, Prato Nevoso, Limone). The house is isolated, but at 10/15 minutes on foot there is the possibility of using the public bus. Inside and outside the estate there are free parking areas. Operating expenses - Operating expenses refer to the cost of using the fuel for the heating system and wood for the fireplace, the stove and the outdoor oven / barbecue area. This is a flat rate that we have identified in euro 30 per day and that we insert only in the booking months from September to May inclusive. In case of heavy snow it is necessary to leave the car outside the estate, but access to the location for the first time will be guaranteed in any case by a path created in the snow by a person in charge of organizing the self check-in; for the stay, however, snow shovels will be available to guests for direct and personal use on their part. The directions are: autoroute Torino-Savona; you have to exit at Mondovi and in the traffic circle you have to follow immediately the direction Cuneo. You go straight in the main road. When you pass under a tunnel you have to go right and to follow again the direction Cuneo. You go straight in the main road for a ten km. Now you keep attention because you have to turn left when you find the indication Pianfei. Now you go straight in the main road and in the traffic circle you follow The indication Chiusa di Pesio. Now you go straight in the main road for a few km and when you arrive in front of the first town which is Chiusa Pesio you go straight having the river (Pesio) on your right. At the second deviation which is at the beginning of a climb you turn right. Now you are in flat road with curves. At the end of this road you turn left and go straight in a light climb which is a back; at the end of it you have on your right the indication "Via Provinciale Pradeboni", "Piancampo", "Trattoria della Posta". You have to follow this indication and you are now in a climb with curves. You will find a double curve sharp bend (and on the right the indication "Cascina Scauret) and after a light straight climb with light curves: you will see a green house on the left, a red/stones house on the right, the indications "Tetto Maccagno" and "Tetto Pullanza" on the left. Now you have to keep attention because the next deviation on the left is "Borg. ROVINA" and you have to stop immediately in front of it, to turn left and you are arrived: if you move your face on the left you see an open wood front door with the number 16. That is your location!
