Welcome to Lake House Getaway located on Lake Decorah in Mauston, WI. You can enjoy peace and quiet while staying here, but also close to the exciting attractions in Wisconsin Dells (28min away) or another close by lake; Castle Rock Lake (18min away). Nature, wildlife, sunrises and sunsets await you! Hot-tub relaxation in our enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Private piers for fishing. The tranquil lake is great for fishing, ice fishing, kayaks, canoes... We can sleep 8 people. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed and a twin bunk bed. Main bedroom with private half bath; second bedroom with full bathroom across the hallway. We have a large quiet and secluded yard for outdoor sports and activities overlooking Lake Decorah. There are 2 screened in porches. One is located off the kitchen with a hot tub and the second one is great for outdoor dining. A charcoal grill awaits you as well as a fire pit for bonfires and roasting marshmallows. Large private piers; wood pier is year-round and aluminum pier is removed for winter. Bring your pontoon, kayak, canoe or fishing boat! Two boat launches located just down the street. Washer and dryer available.. Access to entire house with private pier access. We are available at all times through AIRBNB messaging. Our house has all the lake-life features, but also within walking distance to downtown Mauston for great eating, shopping and entertaining! Local Farmers Market open May-Sept and within walking distance from property. Large private driveway for ample parking. Located on a cul-de-sac for additional parking if needed.
