Your space in the guest wing includes two bedrooms. One has a comfy queen size bed with ducted airconditioning, the other has two singles and a ceiling fan, your own bath, shower and separate toilet. In the laundry is a small kitchenette: a bar fridge; microwave; toaster; kettle; crockery and cutlery. *** Please note the kitchenette is small and does not include a stove or oven. A shared laundry opens onto the north facing shared deck with gas BBQ, opening sunroof and outdoor dining setting, table and chairs. *** Please note there is no lounge, TV or inside eating area. Pillows sheets and bath towels are provided. All you need to bring are your bathers and beach towels and a couple of good books. You’ll love the tranquil outlook and laid back lifestyle. It is ideal for couples or small family groups. For those who love the outdoors, cross the road to the foreshore of a lovely quiet sandy beach perfect for swimming, walking, jogging, kayaking, and fishing. The Coochie 9-hole golf course is just 200 meters away. The island community offers workshop type options for art, writing, spiritual retreats and dancing. This is one of the larger blocks of land on the island and the leafy groves are regularly visited by charming native birds. Dugongs, turtles and dolphins live in the calm waters around Coochie. Our big beautiful dog will keep you safe and loves a pat. The property has plenty of parking front or rear. Your space has a separate entrance. This makes checking in easy and convenient. We should be available during your stay. Visiting Coochiemudlo is like stepping back fifty years to a time when children roamed about in perfect safety and just got called back for dinner. It's a small community and everyone looks out for one another in a charming way. We are an easy 10 min walk from the ferry or barge. No need to bring your car unless you want to. The Island is small enough to walk anywhere you want to get to. On inquiry there are rental bikes available. From the Victoria point side, buses regularly run to the shopping center and up the highway to Garden City center. The ferry to the Island is a very short ride - only about 10 min. The earliest leaves Victoria Point at 5 am and they cease running at 10 pm. Check the (Website hidden by Airbnb) website for exact times. Excellent shopping in nearby Victoria Point is just 5 min from the Victoria Point jetty and the huge Garden City shopping center is another 15 min along the highway. The Island boasts 2 delightful cafes and 3 restaurants.
