Cozy rooms for Triangle Travelers
My home is close to UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University, Durham. It is cozy, quiet, nestled in the woods-good for couples & business travelers. There is your own entrance/door to the upstairs. The upstairs has a full bath, bedroom-1 queen size bed and small "catch all" room for suitcases/computer work. This home is nestled in woods. The big windows in the guest's bedroom gives a great view of the neighboring birds. There is space for your car in my driveway. If you are a biker, you have a 10-minute ride to Carrboro and to the University Place (Mall) area in Chapel Hill. There is no longer a bus service to this neighborhood. I have local contacts/businesses to call if any problems, people who have taken care of my house for years. This year I got a brand new AC/heating system. I can be reached by cell phone/text or email at all times. This home is 10 minutes from Chapel Hill Restaurants and 15 from the notable ones in Durham. I eat in Durham as frequently as I do in Chapel Hill. I am 30 minutes from Raleigh on I-40. I use to work in Raleigh and the commute is not bad if you time it right! You can walk 20 minutes to the Chapel Hill Bus System bus stop. If you ride a bike you can get to most destinations in Chapel Hill and Carrboro easily. If you want privacy this is a perfect place to be. There are neighbors but not much interaction with them. House sits off the road so is cozy, and secluded, yet on a good access to get to Durham or around Chapel Hill.
