The cottage is quite remote so if you want to explore Dartmoor, we'd recommend bringing a car. There are plenty of things to do on the doorstep, especially if you like walking, eating, drinking and being pampered (and who doesn't?!). Some guests simply get dropped off to the cottage by taxi from Exeter St David's train station and are more than happy doing local walks, visiting the pub and trying out all the five-star facilities at Bovey Castle Hotel.
