ABOUT THE HOUSE: The hallway leads through to a stylish, well-equipped modern kitchen, adjoining the dining/ living room, home to a piano for the musically minded. This award winning living area on the ground floor is a wow factor, flooded with light from glass concertina doors. The glass doors open to provide a wonderful indoor-outdoor space cleverly integrating the private walled in courtyard garden with the kitchen and dining area, great for entertaining, cocktails and alfresco dining on balmy evenings. The ground floor also offers a flexible bedroom arrangement of a superking double which can convert to twin beds. There is also a shower room and loo with a heated towel rail on this floor. Upstairs, on the first floor, is the spacious Living Room, providing plenty of natural light, high ceilings with chandelier, wooden floor and Georgian fireplace. This property is in an artisans neighbourhood with a variety of cultural residents, from all walks of life, professors, artists, musicians, etc. Most of our guests walk everywhere, but there are also buses including Tour buses which take you all around Bath, even into the hills surrounding us, but also tours to nearby historical sites, such as Stonehenge. There is also a good Taxi Service. SMOKING: Smoking is allowed on the patio - as long as you use an ashtray and clean up after yourselves. Do not leave butts on the patio. Absolutely NO smoking inside the house.
