pet friendly welsh cottage
old miners cottage, in the heritage village of Blaenavon, at the foot of the Brecon Beacons national park. Ideal for history enthusiasts, walkers and water sports. The cottage is self-catering with a modern kitchen and shower room. It has central heating, a coal effect gas fire. Pets are welcome but will incur an additional charge,there is a secure garden. Bedding will be provided for the main beds, but sleeping bags are required for the 2 bed chairs. Towels and toiletries are not provided. One of the oldest cottages in the village, with views of the mountains out of the kitchen window. The whole cottage is available at all times, there is also a garden which hopefully will be completed by the spring will contact guests through Airbnb before they arrive, guests are more than welcometo message or phone with any queries Blaenavon is an old village and used to be a mining and ironworks area. There are museums and many attractions in the area depicting these industries. It's also in the Brecon Becon national park with a great many walking trails and out door activities The local bus X24 stops at the bottom of the garden. This can take you to Cwmbran which has a large shopping centre or to the railway station where you can get to London, Swansea,Newport or Cardiff There is an extra charge of £20 for pets.
