Spend your holidays in our romantic Cascina Zara, a beautifully restored Italian farmhouse set in the Italian countryside with panoramic location. Enjoy your holiday in this inviting house and take in the stunning view while lounging by the swimming pool in the garden. Only a short car journey away, the regions towns and charming villages offers a wide shopping and dining out experience. The Cascina is in Piemonte (Mombercelli), in the earth of the wonderful wine region listed among UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Cascina is divided into a main house and 2 separate apartments. The main house has a large dining room, with seating for up to 10 people around the table. The dining room is combined with the kitchen on the ground floor, next to the cozy living room for entertaining the guests. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, with private bathrooms. Both bedrooms have balconies with exceptional views. The Ca’Gulio apartment have a large bedroom and bathroom and a living room with a kitchen. The Ca’Gulio apartment is situated on the ground floor with access for wheelchair users. The Ca’Teresa apartment on first floor have a large bedroom, bathroom and a living room with a kitchen, with a lovely view from the balcony over the pool and the nearby vineyards. The apartment have also a sofa bed for 2 persons in the living room. At the other end of the house, the old stable sits with its original hayloft and offers guests the space and opportunity to pursue their craft and arts interests. The swimming pool is 12x5 meters and has a depth of 0.8 x 1.5 meters. The garden is 3200 sqm and contains several different species of fruit trees and flowers. The Cascina property rental fee include the main house and the 2 apartments. Standard rental period is based on a minimum of 7 days, from Friday to Friday. Check-in and check-out days and length of rental can be negotiated with the landlord. Upon arrival, there will be a host who will welcome guests and help with practical questions and recommendations on excursions. The neighborhood is very calm, and consists of country houses and vineyards. 50 meters up the street there is wine sales as well as the opportunity to order truffle safaris in the truffle season. The nearest town is Mombercelli, but with a car ride of 5 to 10 minutes there is a plethora of lovely restaurants. Asti, Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco, and a multitude of beautiful and charming villages is only a short ride away. A drive to Torino takes about 1 hour by car or you can take the train from Asti. Car drive to the sea and beaches 1 hour. White Gold. In the Aosta region 2 hour drive from Mombercelli, sit some of Europes oldest ski resorts. For 200 years, mountaineers, royalty and tourists have come to this parts of the Alps to experience its dramatic nature, luxuriate in healthy springs or engage in winter sports.
