Jasmin’s Place RM #5 has a twin bed

This is a single person room, in a Lodging House. There may be a few other guests staying in other rooms so we ask you to use common courtesy as there are some shared spaces. This large old brick and mortar building used to be a first National Bank. Now it’s a quaintly decorated lodging establishment, great for students or if you need a cheap place to stay for interim work, or if your just in the area for awhile. I have been hosting on Airbnb for a few years and this is my favorite house. Jasmin’s Place is right in the center of small town Americana. This is Nashwauk Lodging’s flagship establishment. The charm of the remodeling project was to bring about comfortable rooms and interesting common spaces. There’s an old vault with bar and chairs, we revamped the lobby into a nice social area for guests to relax after the days activities. While staying at Jasmin’s Place please help yourself to the self catering kitchen upstairs (please help keep it clean.) We include some basic things like stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, cups, plates, dishwasher, and a washer / dryer. There’s also a dinning room upstairs next to the kitchen. TV lounges are on the premises upstairs and down, a really cool bar dubbed “the 1st Nation Speakeasy” proudly serving whatever you bring. We provide basic stocking and cleaning of the 3 bathrooms, kitchen and lounges. We don’t enter the private rooms generally but if you would like a clean bed linen change we offer that weekly. Please notify the Innkeeper Myrna and she will expedite that at your convenience. Nashwauk is a blue collar town with a nice little business district. There’s an iron ore mine observation site, restaurants, bars, grocery store, liquor store, gas station, a bank, post office, and all within a convenient 1 block walking distance. We are located in the middle of the Masabi Trail, longest paved bicycle trail in America. 15 minutes from Hibbing and 25 minutes from Grand Rapids. There’s free public parking across the street. Use the opposite side than the side of the old hardware store. There’s some curbside parking but it’s not much. We highly recommend the free public parking option.
