Mist On Bridgewater

The house is a solid stone Queen Anne Villa style home set in the popular Adelaide Hills less than 10 minutes from both Stirling and Hahndorf, and less than 30 minutes from the city of Adelaide. Come and stay for some peace and quiet, and to connect with nature. We have three friendly farm dogs, two indoor cats, and alpacas. The property has swimming pool, sauna, full hard surface tennis court, and loads of space - both open and forest - to find your place of absolute zen. Swimming pool, spa, sauna, tennis court, paddocks, forest stroll, living spaces, kitchen. Guests can access all areas except our private bedrooms We also live in the home, and can discreetly leave you to explore the property and surrounding hills. Or if we’re free, and you like, we’d love to show you some of the sights nearby. The local hotel, Bridgewater Inn, is relaxed with an incredible menu. Set beside a flowing creek. In the beginning of the warmer months the sounds of frogs and sight of ducks, and locals strolling on walking paths is so relaxing and dreamy. There is also the cute Bridgewater Greengrocer and Cafe, where you can get some nice organic produce and have a snack and tea/coffee(next door to Coles). Stirling is a beautiful little town with great cafes and shopping boutiques. The historic German inspired Hahndorf is just a few short minutes away. And nature reserves and walking trails surround the property. Of course, very nearby is Cleland National Park where you can hand feed kangaroos, and have your picture taken with a koala. Warrawong Sanctuary houses some protected Australian Native animals. Monarto Zoo is just up the freeway, where you can tour in a bus amongst giraffes, lions, and other wild animals. The property is easily accessible to the South Eastern Freeway which can take you straight into Adelaide’s city centre, or to some other sweet towns in the Adelaide Hills.
