ShortBus, Peacocks & Ponies at Corbett Farm

1982 Schoolie Short Bus Converted into a unique & practical camping space thanks to the talents of a local Portland Designer. The Short Bus has it's own space behind the barn. There is a privacy fence between the bus and the barn apartment. The bus is quite close to the creek and there are plenty of trails for exploring. There is an outhouse toilet for visitors staying in the Short Bus and/or Barn Apartment. For these two spaces there is also access to a shower, sink and small refrigerator. The Short Bus is all yours while you are here. You are also welcome and encouraged to make yourself at home about the farm. Stuart can introduce you to the animals if you like. Stuart is usually available to take you horseback riding (for a reasonable additional fee) which helps maintain our horses. We find it works best to let our visitors determine how much interaction they prefer and do our best to follow your cues. You are going to need transportation to get to this one. That being said folks Uber in, Bike in, even Hike in, arrangements can even be made to pick you up in Sandy or Troutdale if needed. There are 4 rental units at the farm so you are probably going to see and meet a few other folks. That being said it is not hard to find secluded quite spaces about the property for relaxing. Weekday visits tend to be more sedate.
