This classic family-friendly cottage is sure to warm your heart with 3 BD/2 full ba, fenced-in yard, heated bath floors, 9 ft ceilings and comfortable furniture provides a lodge ambiance and a wonderful place to relax. Pet friendly with large fenced in yard and a large "treehouse" deck with table, Adirondack chairs and large propane gas grill! Charming farmhouse with Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, marble and glass tile baths, 9 foot ceilings and comfortable furniture. The front porch provides a nice space to relax with a book, coffee or glass of wine - especially to watch the sunset! Newly installed: fiber for internet- super fast, Apple TV for Netflix/Hulu and Verizon repeater so you can use your VZ cell out there! Relax and enjoy nature on the large "treehouse" deck that has Adirondack chairs, large 6 person dining table and a new high-end Weber grill. Note we charge a $100 pet fee per visit. One thing to note is that the water has some odor of sulfur, not harmful but does smell some. We provide good drinking water in the fridge and guests are always welcome to bring bottled water if they choose. The nearest store is about a 20 to 30-minute drive away so please be prepared with food or other things you want to have on hand. This vacation home sits down a small driveway from a paved road and is surrounded by acres of nature. You will love the large treehouse deck where you can eat and relax outside in the trees. Beyond that and within walking distance are the rest of the thousands of acres that make up the George Washington National Forest. We are about 45 mins from Bryce ski resort and a little over an hour from Canaan Valley resort so come relax and go skiing for the day! Both offer downhill and cross-country skiing! Lost River is known for amazing cycling (road, gravel/dirt, off-road) and hiking. Come out and enjoy the surroundings! One queen bedroom is downstairs with its own bath and canopy bed (master suite). All bed linens and towels are provided. There are two full baths, one upstairs and one down. The baths have heated marble floors, glass tile walls and high-end fixtures. Soak in the upstairs bath's jetted tub with a window that overlooks the mountains and catch a glimpse of the deer and wild turkeys. The cottage has both central air and heat and dual zones for those who like to sleep with it cool but wake up to a warm downstairs. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, etc.. There is a washer and dryer combo upstairs if you need it. Newly installed: fiber optics for fast internet, Apple TV with netflix/hulu, Verizon repeater so your VZ cell phones will work at the house!
