Beautiful home on the banks of Loch Goil

Welcome to my newly renovated home on beautiful Loch Goil, deep in Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. It's a warm, cozy and comfortable space to relax and enjoy the stunning views of Loch Goil and the surrounding mountains. It's the perfect holiday destination for lovers of the great outdoors or anyone looking to get away from it all. This detached bungalow is set in large mature, enclosed gardens and is surrounded by mountains, woodlands and streams, and of course Loch Goil which meets the bottom of the garden. The adventurous can launch water going equipment from the house, and the slightly less adventurous can enjoy a cup of coffee with an uninterrupted view sat on the sea wall. I have just refurbished the house to an exceptional standard, and as such I would expect guests to treat it like their own home. The open plan living area has a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams, an exposed brick fire place, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the loch, an upright piano, a breakfast bar and a round table with seating for 8 (10 at a push). The floor is finished in oak, the worktops in granite, and great attention to detail has been put into the lighting which I’m sure will impress. It has 4 bedrooms, sleeping 10 guests, and has two full size bathrooms. Each bedroom has a walk in wardrobe for guest use The house is powered by a sustainable air source heat pump, and as such has pressurised hot water from the rainfall showers in each bathroom. We have 35Mb Broadband, 4G phone reception and ASDA will deliver food if you wish. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the main living area for a small extra cleaning fee, but please not in the bedrooms. Please note Lochgoilhead, like much of the Highlands, can have large numbers of midges (small biting insects) in the summer. This is my home, that I rent out occasionally whilst travelling, as such I'm available on the phone, and have many friends and neighbours in the area who can help with anything you might need. There are marked lochside and forest walks from the door, sea angling in the loch and river fishing by permit. An indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, along with a restaurant, bar and 9-hole golf course are available at Drimsynie, which is a 20 minute walk from the house. The village centre with local shop and pub are a 5 minute walk. A 20 minute drive away is Loch Fyne, with its world famous Oyster Bar and Inveraray, with its picturesque castle and medieval jail. There is space at the property for two medium sized cars. If you bring more than two the others should be parked in the village. The laundry facilities are in a separate outhouse accessed through a gate. They're very occasionally shared by the cleaners of the house, and by my partner and I when we're at the cabin next door. If you'd like to have the laundry to yourself for the length of your stay though please let me know and we'll ensure so one else goes in. Access to the house from the parking area is a 30 meter walk down the hillside over 25 steps. It can be a bit of a workout unloading the car!
