Safari Tent 1 at Le Ranch Camping with a jacuzzi

The safari tents are set in a small friendly, tranquil campsite – perfect for spending the day relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the area. Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Madranges in the foothills of the Monédières, we are ideally placed to explore the Corrèze and the Millevaches Parc Naturel. We have made a space to create some special memories and to switch off from every day life. Relax, recharge and unwind and enjoy the enchanting countryside that surrounds us. Our safari tents come with their own private wood burning hot tub. The safari tent sleep up to a family of 5 and are decorated in a stylish and unique way. The tents have 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds, we also have a day bed in the living area for a 5 person. There is a summer kitchen with mini gas oven, 2 ringed stove and fridge with a small freezer compartment. A dining table and shelving in the living area plus a picnic table outside. Shower and toilet facilities are shared with 3 other tents and 2 camping pitches. There is a family wet room with toilet, sink and baby changing facilities, another shower room with toilet and sink , separate toilet & hand basins and washing up sink. Facilities on site include, a small bar with license 3 where we also serve pizza (opening time vary please contact us for details), a 5.5m above ground swimming pool, table tennis, communal seating, honesty shop with a selection of drinks hot and cold and ice creams, tourist information and a small selection of games and books. Bread and pastries are available for delivery to your tent every day except Thursday. you can also purchase fresh eggs from our chickens. Please note: our above ground swimming pool is open May to September. The pool is not heated. You can park your car next to the tent or in our carpark. We live on site and are around for information, but also respect our guest privacy. We have many places to visit, walks and activities in the Corrèze, it’s a naturally beautiful area. You can have lazy days by the swimming lakes, 3 are within 20 minutes drive and some with beaches. There are plenty of hiking and cycling routes nearby or if you are feeling adventurous paragliding, canoeing and horse riding are available not to far from our site. 15 minuets away by car is the pretty village of Treignac, here you will find most thing you need including a supermarket, restaurants and the tourist office. If you like shopping Brive and Limoges are around an hours drive from us and both have an old parts of town you can visit. We recommend you bring or hire a car due to being in a rural area. We have a strict no noise policy between 23.00h. And 8.00h. The summer kitchen is placed on the terrace and not inside the tent. If needed due to bad weather it can be moved further into the tent as the units are on wheels. Jacuzzi : We supply enough wood for the jacuzzi for one heat up per day free of charge, if you require to heat more than once we charge €4 for a wood pack which includes kindling and firefighters as well as the wood. It takes around 1-2.5 hours to heat the jacuzzi depending on the weather.
