No visible neighbours. Unique off the grid experience designed to provide liberation from the concrete jungle. Wood fire stove provides all heating. Incredible sunrises. Easy access to the wild; getting lost in nature becomes natural. In the evening, relax on the verandah as native animals come out to play. This architecturally designed timber cabin features 1 queen bed, a flat-screen TV, WIFI, fireplace, barbecue facilities, washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with all the comforts of home. Sit out on the balcony with a cuppa or glass of wine, enjoy the stunning view, and relax in all that Tassie has to offer. Entire cabin + 40 acre property. Includes rolling hills where you can play on our private home-made 3 hole golf course. (Please let us know in advance if you are interested in this feature.) The cabin is the only accommodation on the property so guests have complete privacy. The friendly neighbours take care of the place and will organise a key, firewood, etc. - Pick fresh oysters and mussels at Flowerpot beach - Pick-up supplies from the Middleton General Store & Post Office (4409 Channel Hwy, Middleton) 5 minutes drive up the highway, they have a great selection of local produce including locally sourced fruit and veg, cheeses, beer & wine - Have a meal at the Peppermint Bay Hotel (3435 Channel Hwy, Woodbridge) - Enjoy a great pub meal from the Oyster Cove Inn (1 Ferry Rd, Kettering) - Explore the Art Farm Birch's Bay Sculpture Trail, and have a coffee at the Five Bob Cafe (3866 Channel Highway Woodbridge) - Woodbridge Village Emporium is a cosy cafe and store great for breakfast or lunch with fireplace, deli, and local art and craft for sale (3446 Channel Hwy, Woodbridge) - Have a swim or sun-bake at Pickup Beach (10 minutes drive south, near Verona Sands) - Visit nearby Bruny Island (check out the delicious oysters at Get Shucked), - Drive to the neighbouring town of Cygnet for breakfast or lunch (try Cygnet Conservatory (Email hidden by Airbnb) Old Bank) and treat yourself to some local retail therapy - Explore the spectacular Hartz Mountains National Park, with it's rocky peaks, glacial lakes & hikes - Sample some Tassie wines and local produce with a gourmet lunch at Home Hill Winery Restaurant (38 Nairn Rd, Ranelagh) Best to drive, access via public transport is difficult. Cabin is heated by wood fire stove. There is also an electric blanket on the bed.
