Bungalow on the beach.

Three houses from the sand, in a magical “bungalow” with a view of the ocean in beautiful Stinson Beach, completely separate from the main house. The canvas(uninsulated) “Glamping”bungalow is steps from the ocean. With a queen bed, electricity & WiFi. The restroom is NOT located in the bungalow, it is at back of the main house,guest use only. In the winter months it can be chilly. This is a NO SMOKING Property. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. We do not offer refunds for “bad weather”. Please read the entire description. This is a casual “glamping” spot. If you love nature and being close to the ocean this is the spot for you. If you are looking for a fancy hotel this is not the spot for you. We have implemented a new cleaning policy due to Covid 19. All linens are washed between guests and all surfaces will be wiped down with Clorox/Lysol products. Due to Covid 19 are not allowing anyone but the registered guest to be on the property during your stay. We are also not allowing guests to use the bbq or the bbq area due to the risk of cross contamination. The walls of the bungalow are canvas and it can be chilly in the winter. Please come prepared. (There is an electric blanket and warm blankets). This is more of a glamping space in a beautiful garden where you can hear and see the ocean from your bed. It is peaceful and beautiful and we prefer guests who enjoy nature and appreciate it's beauty. Our family lives on the property full time and may be around during your stay. We will do our best to give you privacy, but we do live here. You will have access to a private restroom in the house. Access to this bathroom is from the yard and is for guests only. You will need to walk from the bungalow through the yard to the bathroom. There is no bathroom in the bungalow. We require all guests to sign a Covid release form upon arrival. Although we do not anticipate you contracting covid during your stay there is always a risk. This form releases us from any liability if you do contract covid. No one has contracted covid from there stay here and we do everything we can to protect our guests. Due to Extreme drought and water shortages we only allow guests to use the outdoor shower for bathing. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BATHTUB IN THE BATHROOM JUST THE OUTDOOR SHOWER. We apologize for any inconvenience but we are restricted in our water use. There is a Keurig located in the bungalow for coffee or tea and we will leave granola bars. We ask that guests check in before sunset as it is very dark. We are in an EXTREME drought in Marin County. PLEASE be conscientious of your water use. Due to our dogs disabilities we do not allow guests to bring dogs. There is also an outdoor shower. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided for the outdoor shower. The guest bathroom is accessed from the yard and only used by guests. You will have to walk from the bungalow through the yard to get to the private bathroom. We have beach chairs and other beach supplies you may use. Just ask. We will wipe down all items you want to use and we ask that you place used items where we can wipe them down before the next guest. We ask that you arrive before 8pm. This is a no smoking property. If there is any odor or smoke (cigarettes, marijuana, etc) when we come to clean you will be charged a $200 cleaning fee. Even if you do not smoke in the bungalow and the smell comes in on your clothes or body the fee will be assessed. This is due to allergies in the host family. There is No Kitchen in the bungalow. We ask that guests are very water conscious during their stay. We have limited water resources in Stinson and we must be careful. The bungalow is in the yard/garden of the home our family lives in. We are very respectful of your privacy, but we do live there :). We are a very friendly family and will have as much or as little contact as the guest would like. We are an easy walk to the town of Stinson beach. 4 great restaurants (this varies based on time of year), shops, a market, and more. We are just steps to the beach. You will have 1 parking spot in front of the house. This space is NOT for those who are looking for 5 star accommodations. It is for nature loving individuals who want to be near the ocean. It’s a great canvas bungalow, but it is not insulated. The bathroom is around the back of the house and you will have to walk through the yard to get from the bungalow to the bathroom. There is an electric blanket and space heater. In the winter months the weather can be chilly. Not for those who can be “fussy”. Please keep an eye on the weather before your arrival.
