Minnetonka Carriage House Guest Suite

This is a separate guest suite built with excellence, comfort, and relaxation in mind. It has a separate entry inside the Carriage House. Owner works in and around the hospitality industry and has a goal to make your experience here a great one: great bed and sleep, great shower, great place to work and to relax. In a residential area but close to many great restaurants, retail shops, and services . This is designed for business travelers or couples. This space is upstairs - being able to walk up and down stairs is a requirement. Our cars are parked downstairs and we would come and go from time to time. There is a lockable door at the entry to the space (bottom of the stairs). Our house is across the parking area. The bathroom floor is heated during colder weather (and can be turned on in warmer weather if desired). The kitchenette is a small version of a full kitchen. Most appliances are listed in the amenities section of the listing. The cook top is a two burner gas. There is a Breville Smart Oven for toasting and baking. It is the best "Counter top toaster and oven" we have ever used. In the spring, summer, and fall the patio would be available. In the winter the patio furniture is inside for storage. We would most likely be home and normally leave guests to themselves. We would be glad to give a quick tour and orientation upon arrival if desired - there is also a "Welcome Manual" that goes through most details about the space. The Welcome Manual can be e-mailed after a booking is made. There is a walking/biking trail nearby. The Marsh, a center for balance and fitness, is just down the road and offers guest day passes for sale. It would be best to have a car - there are city buses within a couple of blocks. Free Parking is available on-site. The property is located on the West side of the Twin Cities with easy access to I-494 - the beltway around the Twin Cities and also to I-394 which goes directly to downtown Minneapolis. We are also close to Lake Minnetonka, the largest lake in the Twin City metro area.
