Ferrybank Cottage

Quiet courtyard house. Situated by the River Tay in Dunkeld. An upstairs private 2 rooms plus a private bathroom with a shower. Access from the garden to the village centre where there are numerous places to enjoy food, a coffee or a drink in beer gardens or inside when allowed. There is also riverside access to Craigvinean Forest which provides great mountain biking tracks and multiple walks with amazing views and scenery. Dunkeld is central to many cycle routes, including Route 77. A shared hallway leads upstairs to a spacious bedroom with a king size bed. Breakfast dining set in the room and a chaise longue for relaxation. An adjoining snug contains sofas and a TV. In the snug there is also a counter height fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. Just outside the bedroom and also upstairs there is a private bathroom with a rain-shower for your sole use. Your best view is to the north of the Tay and the established trees, from about October to April the Cathedral and the centre of Dunkeld and the hills beyond are visible too. Parking in Dunkeld is possible on the main streets or at the 2 public car parks, one at each end of the village. However you will have your own parking space outside the house in a secluded driveway and it is an easy 2 minute walk through the orchard and across the bridge to Dunkeld or a 5 minute walk to Birnam. Outdoor tap and hose available for cleaning bikes.
