Beautiful log cabin situated in a rural country location but only 5 minutes from the A30. Fenton Pitts is a small hamlet located between the stunning National Trust property of Lanhydrock and the village of Lanivet. Lanivet has a fabulous pub, which will deliver. Bodmin is a short 8 minute drive away where you will find numerous shops and supermarkets. The cabin is located on the famous Saints Way and has stunning views of Helman Tor. The Eden project is a short 20 minute drive away. The cabin is completely private and has outdoor seating and a gas barbecue for guests to use. Gas log burner for those cooler nights where you can just curl up and read a book. TV/DVD player with a selection of DVD’s. There is a small kitchen area with a kettle, toaster, microwave, portable two ring hob and a fridge. We have now included a Ninja XL grill for more cooking options. There is a 3 night minimum stay and suitable for adults only. You can park on the shared driveway. The cabin is accessed by a short pathway across the lawn. The key will be left for you in the lockbox The cabin is located in our 5 acre garden and we are available in the main house should you require anything during your stay. We will be there to greet you and show you the ropes but then will leave you alone to explore and enjoy. Fenton Pitts is situated just 4 miles from Bodmin and situated on The Saints Way Padstow to Fowey which is 27 miles long for those ultra fit. Alternatively you could walk the short mile and a half to Helman Tor. We are only a 5 minute drive to Lanhydrock and Respryn where you will find beautiful walks. Lostwithiel is a short drive away and is worth a visit. You will find plenty of antique shops as well as pubs and restaurants. There is also a mainline station where you could hop on a train and travel west towards Truro and St Ives. There is no public transport so a car is essential. There is plenty of room if you would like to bring your own bikes. Storage available if required. Numerous cycling routes especially at Lanhydrock, Cardinham Woods and the Camel Trail from Bodmin to Padstow. WEDDING VENUE From October 2021 the farm across the road will host weddings. Whilst we do not envisage any issues please be mindful that there will be music and guests. All music must stop by 11pm at the very latest. This won’t be an everyday occurrence. There may be none during your stay!
