Newly Renovated Barn with Modern Campy Vibes
Hidden away on a 4 acre lot at the end of a dead end road, this newly renovated barn studio is the perfect cozy getaway. Complete with oversized bathroom, an elevated deck with Weber grill, and a lower patio with modern Adirondack chairs and a Cowboy Cauldron fire pit setup right on the edge our little creek…it is the epitome of relaxation. Please note, this barn is adjacent to our home, and we are there most weekends and some week days depending on the season. A campy vibe with raw, nickel gap pine walls, a wallpapered ceiling, and the original barn flooring discovered during the renovation. Two large stump coffee tables combined with mid-century modern furniture make for a super comfy stay. And a full Kohler fit out of the bathroom & kitchenette means no compromise on luxury. - The barn is also connected to our filtration system, so no sulphur-y tasting water, and the barn is also connected to our whole home generator, so when we lose power (its not if in the mountains!) it'll come back on within 5 seconds! Guests have full private access to the barn apartment, the elevated deck, and the triangle patio and fire pit below. You are also more than welcome to walk the property outside the backyard area, as it makes for some great deer watching in the early mornings and evenings. Guests are not permitted to use our pool or other areas within the backyard. (see drone photos for details) We are at our home on the property most weekends, and are happy to chat or leave you alone; you let us know. If we are not there and you should need anything you can simply message us here and we'll get back to you right away. One of our favorite things about this property is that we are really secluded, and at the same time only a 6 min drive to the supermarket and liquor store, so it is super convenient while giving you all the seclusion you are looking for. The Asokan Rail Trail is a 5 min drive from the house. This newly opened trail is 11 miles long and traces the northern bank of the Asokan reservoir, so bring your bike...and if you're up for it you can pedal all the way to Woodstock. Once you book we will send you a link to our personally curated guide of all our favorite spots to hit in a 1 hr radius from the barn. We also airbnb our home, so there may be other guests on the property when you are there, but you both have your own private spaces. Additionally, if you would like to book the house as well for additional guests, our listing is here: Airbnb does not allow link posting so type in: (Website hidden by Airbnb)
