Evergreen Corner, relax in lovely Cumbria!

Evergreen Corner is a quiet, private annex attached to our bungalow and has its own pathway, entrance and free parking. Facilities include a very comfortable king size bed, a bed settee in the living room (suitable for a child), fully equipped kitchen area, 40" smart TV, dvd player and its own private outside sitting area. Situated just 7 miles from the edge of the Lake District National Park and with easy access to the coast to coast cycle track, safe cycle storage can also be provided. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you relax in the lounge or the outside seating area. Watch the outstanding array of birdlife, together with occasional glimpses of hedgehogs and squirrels. There is also access to a local footpath into the surrounding countryside. Please note that part of the pathway leading to the front door has a steep incline and may cause difficulties for anyone with compromised mobility To afford you complete privacy and independence there is a key box at the front door, to let yourselves in. At any point during your stay, I am available on my mobile to help with any issues you may have or just pop next door to see me! Workington is a busy vibrant town, with lots of shops, pubs, restaurants. There is also a local cinema and theatre. Just 10 minutes drive away is the ancient market town of Cockermouth and the coastal town of Maryport. Keswick and St Bees are just a little further afield at around 30 minutes drive Workington has its own train station - handy for those starting or finishing their coast to coast cycle journey. The nearby Lake District has many mountains, valleys, villages and lakes to explore, whether for short strolls or long rambling walks. If you are feeling adventurous, you could tackle some of its 214 mountain peaks or just have a lazy weekend!
