Dunkirk Estate is 1 km from the beach, set in the coastal forests of Salt Rock. 100 m from the apartment is a floodlit tennis court as is a 25m swimming pool with sun deck. The award winning, Dunkirk Clubhouse featured in several architectural magazines. Ray's Kitchen ( restaurant) boasts a stylish, open plan design. A boardwalk runs through the forest, bird and mammal species can be enjoyed. The designer Forest/ Dash units are nestled in this popular estate. The 3 bed 3 bathroom penthouse is open plan, comfortable and newly renovated. It is on the third floor and there is no lift. Guests need to climb 3 floors, the view and privacy from the apartment is well worth the climb.... not to mention the free step class :) There is a fabulous outdoor patio area with braai facilities overlooking the forest. Dunkirk Estate is very secure and close to the beach and has a wonderful shopping Centre ( Woolworths/ Checkers and much more) about 50 m from the entrance of the Estate. Tiffany’s shopping Centre is also fabulous with great restaurants about 1 km from the estate. The beach is 1 km from the estate. A fabulous upmarket restaurant “Ray’s Kitchen” about 100m from the apartment is a must. The tennis court and swimming pool are shared with other guests in the estate. Obviously the entire apartment is for your exclusive use. The boardwalk through the forest is lovely and the bird life is incredible. The buck that walk freely through the estate. I am generally in the area. I am happy to meet and greet my guests and give them a bit of an orientation brief. I also like to give them their space to get on and enjoy their stay. Ballito with its incredible malls is 5 km away. There is a Virgin Active gym in Ballito. In Salt Rock across the road from the estate is a great shopping Centre ( Woolies and Checkers etc). About 1 km away is another great shopping Centre. The beach is 1 km from the estate. The Salt Rock Hotel about 1 km away serves the most incredible prawn and chicken curry the real Durban deal ! If you have your own car, there is free, safe parking outside the apartment. Uber or taxis are also an option if you don’t have a car. Most things are within walking distance too.
