Quaint home near route 22. Great place to relax and sleep for two nights or longer. Close to Kent, Connecticut, about 45 minutes to Poughkeepsie, NY. Wonderful Hudson Valley views all throughout the year. Come enjoy the place I am so proud to call home! Please note that THIS IS A SHARED space The space consists of: -A private bedroom with a queen size bed -Full kitchen with stove, oven and refrigerator -Living room with fireplace and great views from the windows -Full bathroom -Air conditioning and heater -Outdoor deck with grill -Large backyard You can roam around the whole first floor of the house and out. Explore and ask if you need anything. I have a full time job but I will try to make every effort to assist with whatever is needed. Brookby farm is around a 10 minute walk. The town of Dover is 7 minutes away and there are some fast food restaurants on route 22 as well as some gas stations. Ten Mile River, Crown Maple Estate are near by. Kent and New Milford Connecticut are 20 minutes away and there are many shops there. The nice thing about my house is that you can spend all day at home soaking in the relaxing countryside or go out and explore Millbrook (Innisfree Garden) Stoneville, Sherman, Pine Plains, Wassaic, and Amenia towns. You will need a vehicle to get around as there is limited public transportation around. Route 22 will take you south into NYC city(1.5 hours) or north into Massachusetts(1 hr). There are two Metro North train stations nearby; Harlem Valley and Dover. If you're looking to come here for the weekend I can pick you up at the train station for a small fee.
