Fall season drives along U.S. HW 12 & 20 for foliage Winter day hikes, x-county skis trail, shopping trips to the Michigan City Outlet mall Studio apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. The natural light and open area promote rest and relaxation. You are located close to many fun activities. Great birding area. Visit downtown Chesterton area, libraries, the Indiana Dunes, paved bike trails, Antique or the Re-sale shop(s), Hawthorn and Dogwood Park(s). Chesterton park has splash pad and get playground. Several specialty restaurants, coffee shop, wine cafe and small batch micro-brewery too. Take that short drive and you're in SW Michigan. Complete access to the detached Studio apartment. Plenty of room to hang your clothes. The fire pit, (kinling provide, bring firewood) umbrella outdoor table and four (4) chairs ALL can be used. Beach cooler, chairs, and towels provided. Great neighborhood, alley parking on the north-side of "myhathouse" or park on "front pad" of main house, Flat walk-able area to downtown for morning walks, the library, trails, and nice small restaurants. Great bike riding streets all over town. Two blocks from the Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat. We can help you with free Porter Beach parking, three (3) block walk to the beach - see map binder provided. The location is public parking on Bote Drive. Take the South Shore into Chicago or South Bend. Near the toll road, Interstate 80-94 and Interstate 65 Have fun and relax. Limit four (4) total people staying in "myhathouse" overnight. One pack and play (for infant) is provided. No more than two (2) visitors during rental time period. No large parties/ very loud music that would disturb neighbors. No 'house parties' allowed.
