Private Studio in the Heart of Orono

Walking distance to many of Orono's microbreweries and restaurants. Four minutes to UMaine campus (1 mile), 1 hour 20 minutes to Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor. Private entrance, one level apartment (3 steps to enter.) 275 sq ft. The suite is all yours. Cozy kitchen with granite countertops, compact refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, and a Keurig Coffee Maker with a selection of K-Cups. Small eating table for two. White-tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower and rain showerhead. A queen bed with luxury linens, feather blanket, and multiple pillows. Reading chair. Recessed lighting. High-speed internet. Smart TV with access to Netflix (no cable tv available). Many windows, nice airflow. Guests will have access to the entire private suite as well as a shared parking area in the rear for off-street parking. The unit is attached to the host's family home and has its own private entrance. Guests will enjoy complete privacy but could likely see host family members on the grounds. Check-in after 3 pm is always flexible. Keypad entry will let you can come and go as you please at whatever hour. Your personalized code will be sent to you prior to check-in. I can be available as little or as much as needed. I will always be close by to answer any questions. I'm happy to give suggestions or help you plan your visit but I will always respect your privacy. My family owns a local shop close by and we can almost always be found there. Great location to enjoy downtown Orono. Just down the street from 2 microbreweries, numerous restaurants and quaint coffee shops. Walking distance to wooded hiking trail along the Stillwater River and exactly 1 mile from UMaine Campus. On the free Black Bear Express bus route which runs from UMaine Campus to downtown Orono twice an hour when the University is in session. Walking distance to bus routes which travel from Bangor to Old Town. Two miles from interstate 95. Temperatures usually drop at night but a window A/C unit successfully cools the entire space from July - August, in case there are some stretches of hot weather. Long-term stays are welcomed, as long as the dates are consecutively available. For stays longer than 14 nights the apartment is only available for one guest. No washer or dryer but multiple laundromats within a 10-minute drive. Maine is the most heavily forested state in the country and there are bugs. Bugs are attracted to light. Entry doors open to the outside and outdoor lights will be left on for safety. When doors are left open, bugs can and will fly in.
