House of Refuge - lower

Quiet and peaceful. This is a very well kept older house owned by one Italian family for over 80 years. I have owned this house for almost 10 years. The basement was set up to be the kitchen/cooking area which is a typical Italian tradition. So, the basement was set up to have living essentials. Converting it to an apartment space has been a good work in progress. The lighting is great and has a separate entrance which splits off of the main entrance. Guest will be also have access to the patio which is above the double car garage. I will be available to answer questions throughout the day. This is an old Italian neighborhood with many migrating here during early 1900 to work in the steel mills. You will notice many pizza shops and a few Italian Restaurants that are favorites. Anthony Jr's is one, with Friday night mandolin serenades. Of course, Dairy Queen, McDonald's and Subway are very near by. The Robert Morris area has many restaurants to choose from as well as downtown Sewickley village. The city bus routes come thru regularly. There is also a bike trail that many enjoy year round. I have said over the years that San Francisco has nothing on us regarding the steep hills and streets.
