We are located inside of the Hillsdale neighborhood about 3mi/5km from Portland city center. The SW Hills are a quieter part of Portland. We are located on the "no outlet" street... (2nd ave, not far out), but an easy Uber or I-5 hop to most of PDX and beyond. There is a corporate supermarket (Fred Myer/Kroger) and Hillsdale neighborhood center about a half mile walking distance. Transportation via the #12 bus is accessible every 15 min to the central bus mall (approx 10 min). But you should Ubur/Lyft(cheaper for groups;-) Also, trails abound. Our property is fairly private for urban standards. It abuts to Barbur Blvd, so there is traffic noise. Notably in the backyard. (I hope the tire swing giggles cancel it out=) Parking can be an issue if you have multiple large cars, but we can certainly accommodate one large car/van/truck or 2 regular sized cars. The apt is the max size that the city allows for ADU standards (i.e. any larger space would have to be a full vacation house.) This is a great house for famlies, friends, or coworkers looking for an efficient and fun space that is close to the city center. Downstairs (below the apartment) there is a Wire Fenced Backyard with a Chicken Coop, Workshop, Covered Porch, Tire Swing, and Hammock(during the Summer). My wife and I live on the main level of the house and are available if you have ANY questions/issues, but otherwise this is a totally separate living space.
