Country house with garden, from the early 1900s recently renovated, Ratto del Gallo offers two double bedrooms with spectacular views of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. The rooms, all with balconies, are equipped with new large beds, antique and vintage family furniture, newly renovated private bathrooms, free WI-FI and television. Comfortable and cozy common areas, all with a view, are available to our hosts. The accomodation provides a wide Italian kitchen with fireplace, where our rich sweet and savoury breakfasts are served with the best local foods, and two relaxation areas where to read, organize excursions, sip herbal teas or digestifs. Do indulge and enjoy an aperitif in the orchard under the pergola or in the rose garden. The property is located 8 minutes by car from the city-centers of Stresa and Baveno, in a delightful and peaceful village that has preserved its characteristic stone houses. From here you have the chance to leave for excursions towards the wild Val Grande, the spectacular peaks of the Veglia - Devero Park and the Val Formazza, as well as the most secret Ossola valleys. Or you can enjoy sports and outdoor swims in the many lakes and streams in the area. The small town is also very popular among cyclists as it is the crossroads of various circuits around the lake and the surrounding mountains. You can easily find a spot where to park nearby our house. It is possible to arrange guests' pick-up for at the Stresa station.
